Norberg and CHSQA Earn Recognition

Former BK student Patrizia Morgan Norberg, AIA (’79),  a senior associate at Boise firm CSHQA,  was a member of the team recently recognized for its work on the  Idaho State Capitol Building Restoration Project. CHSQA received an Award of Merit at the recent bi-annual American Institute of Architects Idaho reception in Ketchum, Idaho, October 23, 2010.  After a century of service, use, and countless modifications which eroded the historical character of the building and grounds, the Idaho State Capitol restoration brought the 200,000 SF building back to its former grandeur by restoring historical elements, preserving existing materials, and rehabilitating spaces for contemporary uses.

In her role at CHSQA, Patty  is responsible for supervising other project managers and coordinating projects between clients, consultants, governmental agencies and in-house staff.   She works closely with owners, consultants, contractors and regulatory agencies to coordinate projects in various stages of completion across the United States. Patty joined the firm in 1988 and became a stockholder in 1999.
